The coverage area of the Destin Fire Control District spans from Princess Beach on the Island, across the Marler Bridge to the western most point of the Okaloosa County / Walton County Line. Coverage reaches north to the Choctawhatchee Bay and covers south to the Gulf of Mexico. The Destin Fire Control District is also responsible for the surrounding waterways to include the Destin Harbor, Crab Island, East Pass, Gulf of America, and Choctawhatchee Bay from the Okaloosa/ Walton line to the Gulf Islands National Seashore Seawall.
