Mike Landis, Deputy Chief
Mike has been with Destin Fire for 16 years and has been a Battalion Chief for the past 3. Mike sits as Region 1 FASAR Coordinator, TRT-109 Coordinator and Team lead, is a FL USAR Rescue Specialist, Paramedic, and is a graduate from Florida State University in 2025 with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Mike is a true local who has grown up in the area and attended Crestview High School. Mike has been married to his wife Bronwyn since 2013 and they has a beautiful daughter 4 year old daughter. In their off time, Mike and his family spend time on the water with friends and family.
